Course Enrollment

There are no prerequisites required to take any of our professional training classes. A License/Permit is NOT required to take a course but after your course completion, you must obtain a body artist license/permit BEFORE working on clients. Licensing, Permits, Rules and Regulations are covered during your course training as a bonus, but please note, it is the student’s responsibility to research their local and state laws regarding licensing, permits, and operation requirements. At PMI, our mission is not only to teach you a service, but to teach you how to legitimize your business with obtaining all licensing/certifications for the yourself and your clients. You will learn all safety and legal protocols in order to run an efficient establishment. Please give us a call to go over the full breakdown of your specific course offered. While PMI offers additional course features, it is the students sole responsibility to research what is required for his/her state and/or county.

You MUST be registered no later than 2 weeks prior to your preferred course date. Your remaining balance will be due on your course date at check-in in the form or Cash unless approved otherwise. ALL CLASSES require a NON REFUNDABLE course enrollment deposit to book. Your deposit is based on the course that you enroll in. We do offer BUYERS PROTECTION, so if an emergency were to arise and you are not able to make your class, PMI allows (ONE COURTESY) course date change at no additional cost, but your remaining balance MUST still be paid off a week before your course date to avoid a rescheduling fee. If you need to reschedule and can not pay your remaining balance, PMI reserves the right to then add on a rescheduling fee to your remaining balance of $350 due to materials being prepared and no other student being able to book on your requested date and your balance not being paid. All prices are subject to change.

Please call to learn more about our school, course descriptions, student support services, how to stay connected with us, and one on one private training. We also offer a full-range of permanent make-up services to the general public.

Please note, it is the student’s responsibility to research their local and state laws regarding licensing, permits, and operation requirements. It is highly recommended to contact your specific state/county department of health in which you intend on performing any tattoo related services prior to investing in training so you are familiar with all fees necessary to open up a tattoo facility. Permanent Makeup Institute LLC can not offer legal advice regarding laws that govern your city/county, state or country.

In-person Hands on Training Materials

All courses are Hands-on. Procedures are demonstrated and taught with the use of training materials, latex skins, and Mannequins/Manikins that simulate real-life situations to prepare you to take on models after your course training. They are also used for First Aid/AED/CPR training, healthcare professionals instruction, disaster practice and much more. Each class is private with just 1 student at a time to ensure that you are learning at your individual paste. Students are required to provide their own models if you OPT in for a model add-on course. When working on live models, all students are supervised by their trainer who will guide and assist with the service being performed. Permanent Makeup Institute LLC is not obligated nor required by law to provide a live model, however, if we have volunteers, our team will do our best to schedule a match for you should you do a live model add-on. A two week deadline registration minimum is required for all model add-on courses.

Final payment is due at check-in on the day of your class in the form of Cash only, unless approved otherwise. Once final payment is received, you will be seated to began your course.
